Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: Egg & Dairy Free

Raw cookie dough – The one guilty pleasure you couldn’t stop yourself from partaking in even though it could literally kill you. 😳

Well my friends, I’m here to grant you a Salmonella, E. coli and other bacterial strand – free recipe that you can eat all day long if you really wanted to.

*Disclaimer: Due to the high demand for this recipe to be posted ASAP,  I didn’t have time to include my usual step by step photos (boooooo).

Anyway, here’s what’ll you need.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups organic all purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking soda (just in case you actually do want to bake them)

1/4 tsp himalayan salt

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup organic cane sugar

1 cup vegan butter (use “earth’s best” brand)

3 tbsp aqua faba (see my Deliciously Chewy Sugar Cookies: Egg & Dairy Free. post on what this ingredient is)

non dairy chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Mix butter and sugar together thoroughly until creamy and smooth. It should look somewhat like frosting before you move on.

2. Add in Aqua faba and vanilla extract to the mixture. The mixture should look a little runny after this step.

3. Next add in salt, baking powder and flour. After throughly mixing all ingredients it should begin to look like a dough consistency. You should be able to scoop some with a spoon and it not fall off easily when you try to fling it back into the bowl. If you find that the mixture still appears to be too runny, gradually add in more flour. I personally added in a little more in but make sure to do this in very small doses or you’ll over due it.

4. Once the dough looks good, add in your chocolate chips and you’re doneee!

You can enjoy it right then (YESSSSS)

OR roll them into small balls on a greased pan and bake them for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.

OR if you prefer your dough a little harder/colder store it in a lid tight container in the fridge and indulge later.

However you choose to eat it, I promise you’ll love this super simple non killer chocolate chip cookie dough 😋 Comment below if you try my recipe and let me know how it goes! 🍪

Til next time,
