Daily Affirmations and how they work
You may have heard people speaking about Affirmations, but what exactly are they?
Affirmations can be used for a variety of reasons. In short, the main reason is to help reprogram the subconscious mind in a positive way. This is generally done in the form of writing, art or reciting things verbally.
Affirmations encourage us to believe certain things are true about ourselves or the world. They help to rewire our thoughts to help attract the things we want in our life.
HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES
Writing down things you want to affirm for yourself (hence, the term "affirmations") is one way to do this. Start by writing things down that you believe will inevitably happen. Begin the sentences with "I Am" or "I Will"
I will be successful. I am worthy of love.
Another way to create affirmations is with visual references. Go through magazines or print out images of things you want to affirm in your life to create a vision board.
Another way to do this is by memorizing an affirmation statement you recite daily to yourself. It is great to start your day affirming what will be.
