Good Being Box Review [May]

My favorite Good Being monthly subscription box has done it again y’all! You guys should know how this works by now [If not, you can click HERE to learn more about the box 🙂 ] so let’s just jump right into my May goodies.

1. Aila nontoxic nail polish [shade “bless your heart”]

This was my first pick for this month and for good reason too! This non toxic nail polish seriously lasts FOREVER without chipping!! I’ve honestly used toxic polish that chips faster than this brand and just love that Good Being was actually the first to introduce me to it! The shade is a lovely deep pink rose color with a hint of shimmer. It’s a tad darker than I anticipated it to look once I put it on but is still gorgeous. They also kindly threw in a single use non toxic nail polish remover wipe as well.

2. Juice Beauty lip crayon [shade Malibu]

I was SO stoked when I opened my box and saw Juice Beauty as a featured brand this month. I’ve been dying to try them and this is exactly why I recommend Good Being so much!! This lip crayon is the perfect everyday nudey/pink color and is surprisingly much like a regular lipstick. When I see the word crayon I typically think of a lip liner pencil consistency but this wasn’t that at all! It goes on super creamy/smooth and is extremely convenient to apply because of the control you get with the slender pencil.

3. Balanced Guru “Purify” facial serum

This product was my second pick for the month and it caught my attention for a few reasons. My skin is definitely acne prone and although I’ve done well to minimize the amount of active acne I get (mainly through diet), I still do suffer from some occasionally. This particular serum is described to aid oily/congested skin and can be used as a spot treatment to keep blemishes at bay. The ingredients are absolutely perfect and so far I like that is doesn’t dry out my skin like other spot treatments I’ve tried. Here’s the full ingredient list:

Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate (And) Lactobacillus (And) Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract*, Glycerin*, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside, Xanthan Gum, Carrageenan , Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract*, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Oil*, Populus Tremuloides Bark Extract , Citric Acid, Silver Citrate, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Oil*, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Oil*, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Extract*, Spirulina Platensis (Spirulina) Extract*, Juniperus Communis Fruit (Juniper) Oil*, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Oil*. *Certified Organic Ingredients.

4. Everbiotics – super food strawberry packs

If you’re unfamiliar with probiotics, they are basically good strands of bacteria that aid with building up your gut health (which aids your overall in general). I love the idea of these convenient little pouches for a quick on the go way to get them in! The directions say to mix in the packet with a glass of cold water (or any beverage) until it dissolves. The flavor isn’t sweet at all though you can still taste is subtly. It reminds me of those lightly flavored vitamin waters for better reference.

I got a peek into next month’s box already and all I can say is WOW. They’ve got some amazing brands coming up and now is definitely the time to sign up if you’ve been thinking about it! Click here for a free bonus item with your first box → SIGN ME UP

Til next time,

~ Chantel
